We spend a lot of time on Slack and Figma. But the best stuff – the conversations that turn into projects, the brands we end up obsessing over, the friendships that outlast the engagement – almost always start with seeing people IRL. If you're going to be at any of these events, please come say hi!
Here's where to find our co-founders for the rest of 2026.
1. Sweets & Snacks Expo — Las Vegas
May 19-21
The biggest candy and snack show in North America, and this year it's heading to Vegas for the first time. Over 1,000 exhibitors, 15,000 industry pros, and a whole lot of sampling. We work with a fair few DTC food and beverage brands (like Rip Van and Elavi who'll be exhibiting!), so this one's a no-brainer. If you spot Jaz and Jamil with a tote bag full of free samples, that's on brand.
2. Summer Fancy Food Show — New York City
June 28-30
The Specialty Food Association's 70th edition lands at the Javits Center, and it's the show where artisanal, gourmet, and better-for-you brands all converge. 2,500ish booths, every product category you can think of, and the kind of trendspotting that ends up shaping shelves for the year ahead. Jamil will be there hunting down founders who are building the next generation of DTC food brands. NYC in late June is hot, sticky, and worth every second.
3. Shopify DotDev — Toronto
July 21-22
Home turf. Shopify's developer and partner event is back in Toronto for two full days (up from one last year), and the whole agenda is built around what's actually coming next on the platform. As a senior-only Shopify studio, this is basically our Super Bowl. Jaz will be at every session she can squeeze in, and we'll be running around the satellite events all week. If you're in town for DotDev week and want to grab a coffee, message us – we're locals and we know the good spots.
4. Ecom North LA Summit — Los Angeles
September 17
Ecom North has built one of the best DTC founder communities in North America, and they're bringing the energy to LA this fall at City Market. One day, packed with operators and founders who've actually built (and broken) things, no theoretical panels. Jamil will be hosting a panel with some heavy-hitters, as well as there for the conversations and the post-summit happy hour!
5. Commerce Roundtable — San Diego
September 21-22
Straight from LA, Jaz and Jamil will be driving down the coast to San Diego for two days at the Port Pavilion on Broadway Pier – yes, the one with the sweeping ocean views. 700+ eCommerce leaders, a tight 3:1 brand-to-partner ratio, and a curation philosophy that keeps the conversations actually useful. We've heard great things from operators we trust, so we're excited to finally be in the room ourselves.
