Everyone has a folder of sites they go back to. This is ours. 8 places we open when we need a reset, a reference, or just a reminder that great design is everywhere if you know where to look. At Otherhalf, inspiration isn’t something we save for the start of a project. It’s ongoing. It’s the tab you open at 3pm because something isn’t clicking.
1. Maxibestof
A weekly-updated gallery of the best website design and typography on the internet. Run by one person with great taste. If you only bookmark one inspo site, make it this one.
2. Landbook
A hand-picked gallery of well-crafted websites organised by industry, style, and colour. Good for when you need to see how everyone else is solving the same problem you're staring at.
3. Commerce Cream
The go-to gallery for Shopify store design inspiration. Every site featured is actually built on Shopify, which makes it genuinely useful when you're designing for the platform rather than just admiring from afar.
4. Thingtesting
A discovery platform for new and emerging consumer brands, with honest reviews from real people. Useful for keeping tabs on what's launching, what's getting traction, and which brands are worth paying attention to before everyone else does.
5. Footer.design
Exactly what it sounds like. A curated gallery dedicated entirely to website footers. Sounds niche until you're staring at a blank footer at 4pm and need to figure out what goes there.
6. CPGD.XYZ
A directory of emerging consumer packaged goods brands, updated weekly. Good for spotting packaging trends early, seeing what new brands are doing with their identity, and understanding where the market is heading before it gets there.
7. Typewolf
The best resource on the internet for typography. It tracks which fonts are being used on real websites, suggests pairings, and helps you avoid the ones everyone else is already using. Bookmark it before your next project.
8. Internet Gems
A curated collection of favourite website designs from the ilovecreatives team, with notes on what they actually like about each one. Fonts, colour, copy, layout. More opinionated than most galleries and better for it.
There you have it. Eight sites worth your time, all of them genuinely useful. We hope they spark something for you the way they have for us. And if you have a site we should know about, send it over. Our folder is always open.
